I don’t doubt it. See you in the gulags. (But seriously. Wish you well).

Prolly living close to nature there. Modern life has its downsides for sure. I’m opting not to move there tho. You?

Maybe size is a factor. Works in smaller populations better maybe? Certainly applies well to a family unit

No system (except God’s) is perfect. But I’ll take one based on individual decision making over central planning every time.

Pretty willfully blind to believe a system that has already been tried multiple times and has led to abject misery and death is better than the one we currently have that has enabled longer life spans and dramatically improved quality of life.

Dude you are in fantasy land. Love ya but I can’t engage with this nonsense. Busy making life better for those around me.

So a world communist govt would usher in the utopia?
October 27, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Looks like it made us all fat and susceptible to heart attacks

They do go together quite nicely.

If you prefer the equal distribution of misery to the unequal distribution of wealth then I guess we’ll just differ.

It has lifted billions out of poverty globally. If they are doing better than without it, they aren’t slaves. Does it guarantee some won’t take advantage of others? Nope. But it’s the best thing we’ve come up with so far

Drug war? Lots of victimless crimes in this numbers if so. Sad.

The conflation of slavery as the definition of capitalism is a wild take. Slavery is theft and violates all free market principles, beyond the obvious moral and spiritual ones.
October 26, 2025 at 9:53 PM
And every one of them guilty of a victimless crime should be released.
October 26, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Neither of those things are “capitalism”
October 26, 2025 at 9:46 PM
Not much info. Maybe this? It differs because capitalism doesn’t require gulags to stay in place.

We got a ways to go. “Scholars figure that Communism killed between 8 and 61 million Soviets; 15 to 20 million seems most accurate. Estimates of the total number of dead due to Communism — not counting from wars — run from 85 million to upwards of 200 million.”
The Bolshevik Revolution and a century of death and destruction
Until a century ago, Karl Marx was an unpracticed intellectual, a prolix babbler who’s thoughts remained an ideal rather than a reality. Then came the Bolshevik Revolution. On November 7 (October 2…

Yeah looks like the higher pay and lower taxes in the US might be draining some to the south too. So many variables.
October 26, 2025 at 7:20 PM
Americans would abuse the shit out of a system like that
October 26, 2025 at 6:26 PM
Back in the 80s and 90s the US system was pretty cherry by comparison. I paid $14 to have my first child and that was to get a private phone line in the room. Way better than the massive grift of tax dollars we have now with the ACA.

Depends on what’s important to you. It’s a way to divert market away from the larger producers.
October 26, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Sounds legit. There are some ranchers who sell direct online I believe.
October 26, 2025 at 4:30 PM
It seems the ppl who seek public office are often the worse types to lead.
