I like the progression from an uncaring Jack at the beginning to a genuinely desperate and scared one as he slowly realizes nothing he’s throwing at you is working. And he’s voice acted so well, too.

I hope they remade the combat from scratch because that was bad for 2006, let alone 2025. This includes the items (damage numbers, durability, etc.).
