@corybooker.com I am finding that as a 62yr retired Major who is white and male I am not wanted. I want to run for congress as a democrat. The county democrats restricted an upcoming election to only allow women. I respect your work in the senate and would appreciate advice you might have.

I am exploring running for the 7th congressional district as a democrat and was rather dismayed to see that this position is restricted to a woman. This sort of things is fuel for MAGA. Why is this the case?
