I know that Bluesky is not like Facebook and not many will read this but here it goes. Everyday in the US now is a WTF moment. Our decent into authoritarianism and fascism is accelerating at a pace even the Germans of 1939 would marvel at. I despair we do not have the backbone to stop the cycle.

The uproar over 8647 is pathetic. Equating it with a threat is ridiculous. 86 means to discontinue of get rid of something. Impeachment, resignation, 25th amendment or such.

In all seriousness. I check for entrances , exits and suitable barriers and weapons. Always sit where you can see all doors and with your back to a wall. In this new age you have to see the brown shirts coming.
