Well, what they actually told you is that they're an idiot who doesn't understand any part of what they were talking about, so there is that.

Except it can't do that. It frequently makes up, conflates, or hallucinates citations because it's a language model. It's guessing what the next most likely word is, not what's actually real or not real. It literally can't learn how to do any of that.
