And no matter how you’ve chosen to justify your allegiance to him, ultimately you made your decision, and quite frankly, I have lost the respect for and the affinity I had with you.

There is a divide between us now that will never be completely removed.

Jan 20, 1961. A blizzard the day before. Temperatures well below freezing. Without a coat or hat, JFK gave a speech we still quote today. Robert Frost, 86, recited a poem. Steinbeck and Hemingway and Rothko were among the VIPs. A million people gathered in the cold to hear it.
This is the precedent.

In January 20, 1961, the temperature at noon was 22 degrees and 8 inches of snow had fallen in the morning.

John F. Kennedy still had his inauguration on the steps of the Capitol.

I did the Women’s March in 2016, one of my life’s most memorable events. It was a sea of mostly women, a peaceful day of unity which gave me much needed stength to survive the trump administration. I can’t believe we are here again. I hope you can go to the People’s March on Jan. 18th ❤️

Over 15,000 doctors have signed a letter imploring the US Senate to reject Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s confirmation for Secretary of HHS.

The letter states:

“RFK Jr. is not only unqualified to lead this essential agency — he is actively dangerous.”

Does anyone have a contact for Ann ? Would love to discuss with her the possibility of partnering with her to publish her cartoons exclusively on @bluesky
Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

It’s crazy-making that Joe Scarborough said of Bezos: “Anticipatory kowtowing to a guy saying he is going to be an autocrat is the first step”

Then took the step himself 🙃

If Trump has them that intimidated then they need to retire. And MSNBC hosts piled on CNN earlier this year but their code of silence on this is gross. Have some courage and integrity. Is that too much to ask, or are you just too comfortable?
