It’s taken two months and an actual storm but the cat has finally gone into her new house. We hope she’ll eventually figure out the cat door but at least she’s finally gone inside

Teddy is disgusted I’ve spent the last two days building a house for the cat who lives entirely outside (due to wildness). I tell him he can’t complain because he gets a cozier place to sleep. He claims he doesn’t have it that easy! #dogs

Complaints were made about the lack of a timely supper and the loud barking cousin. This is closer to me than she’s ever been before. I think she misses my parents as this is the longest they’ve been away since she adopted them. #caturday

Today I have painted the cat house. Definitely much cuter when it’s not grey. I’ve been painting under a “sun” umbrella all day because it’s been threatening rain. Should be all dry in a couple of hours 🤞#caturday

I have spent the afternoon building and insulating a more sturdy house for the cat. Going to paint it to make it a bit more weatherproof. Teddy is disgusted!

Sometimes people ask me if my dog wants food or to go for a walk. He nearly always wants me to get into bed with him! I never tried to teach him the word “nap”. It happened by accident. #dogs

Achill is a great alternative to the Aran island because there’s a land bridge. Generally anything on the west coast is astonishingly beautiful. All the pictures I took in Achill were stunning

Teddy got a summer haircut, and somehow he just looks more like a pup. Especially if he’s up to some nonsense - which is what’s happening here. Sometimes he looks like an unreal cartoon dog! #dogs

When Teddy is cross or wants something, he doesn’t tell me what it is. He just sits and stare daggers until I figure it out. Sometimes he goes further away and perches on a height. Other times he moves progressively closer.
