This show was brought to mind recently when @cisgenderstudies.bsky.social mentioned it when talking about how The New Yorker profiled Patrick Schneeweis aka Pat the Bunny, lead singer/songwriter of Johnny Hobo and many other bands, currently in @friendsinreallife.bsky.social

This was the first show Johnny Hobo ever played outside of VT. Audio recordings exist of the whole show and Spoonboy, The Lanterns and Johnny Hobo sets are linked below.

The Brood was an all women garage-punk band from Portland, Chris Horne from this band is still playing shows regularly with her newer band Tiger Bomb. I don’t know anything about Have Not, so please fill in that blank if you can. From the collection of Lenny Smith and Jordan Kratz

Had to dig out the flier for that show. Almost exactly 20 years ago. I emailed Pat about 6 months ago, and he reminded me that this was his first show outside of VT.
