They are green but I think the lighting and the fact he was wearing a green sweater brought the color waayyy out they look almost neon😹

I actually suspect something environmental. It’s too big a coincidence that 2 of my cats had the same liver issues. And since moving, Wolfie’s health has been better than ever. I only wish I’d moved sooner.

Strangely the first indication I had that Jack was sick was puking & when I brought him in, his liver values were also elevated. I put thousands into medications, procedures, & vet visits for him too, but he ended up passing from heart failure in 2023.

I never got a definitive diagnosis. It was a GI issue though, & somehow the GI tract affected his liver, so the prescription diet he’s on, plus he takes a daily nausea medication & Pepcid has kept him stable. But this was after 2 years, numerous diets tried, and several medication combos.

This was his 1st day home from the emergency vet, his neck was also shaved he looked so silly.

Yes I almost lost him in 2022 his liver values were so high that his mouth was yellow. A few thousand dollars at the emergency vet, way too many vet visits, & 3 prescription diets later & he’s been stable for over a year. Knock on wood!

Yes, everything is good, they checked Wolfie’s ALT levels & they were still normal, thank goodness! Then everyone got rabies & distemper & the vet wants me to start brushing their teeth, so that should be an adventure. 😬

My pets will always come first💙

He looks like a sweetheart! Pets certainly help us through our toughest times, it’s why I prefer animals to people, no judgment, just unconditional love.

That is Fawkes, he’s a bit of a grump 😾 so I don’t get a lot of photos of him!

He’s super easygoing, my other 2 cats are much less amenable 😹
