Yay, another one for the list of "Real Names Too On Point to Be Taken Seriously in Fiction"

I've been reviewing video games online (and mentally grading books for even longer) and all I can say is that you have to approach the media on its own terms

And sometimes it still fails, but you can understand WHY

Worst thing to do is provide a cupcake review that shows you don't want to get it

I treat those little blue suggestion lines as the emergent comedy they are

And then I nope them out of existence because they're too annoying to let be

I had to have the ankles pulled, wrapped, and sewn shut around my feet so they wouldn't fall off as I walked

Then I wore them for five hours that day before I could get them removed

My problem was that I wear a size 30 (JP) / size 11 (US), and the largest shoe sizes regularly available for socks, shoes, or whatever is 27

We special-ordered from a sumo supplier

But I'm not a sumo wrestler, so the ankle proportions were wrong and they flopped all over

The one pair of those I ever owned were... let's just say I had difficulty finding a properly fitting pair

Thankfully I just needed them for the one day, but it wasn't optimal

It's one of those seminal cyberpunk novels that nowadays serves better as a showcase of the collective neuroses of the 1980s

This feels like a Snow Crash reference...

In that book, the most successful pizza restaurant chain in the US was openly run by the Mob

What we don't see (because I never scanned them) is the three practice runs at figuring out the perspective off my reference photos ;)

I love doing sketchy stuff from time to time, but I never have gotten around to learning how to do computer stuff

Finished up a side tale earlier this year with an occult-minded villainess who appreciated the subtler powers of old things and could plan rings around everyone else involved

I am somehow amazed, appalled, and honored to have set off such an informative morning of rants for you
