And they won ugly as well! Two old school headers. The national team has been missing that exact attitude which used to be in their DNA when I was growing up. They weren’t always easy on the eyes but they always made the finals somehow. Nagelsmann seems to be the pragmatist we been missing for yrs.

So well put. It really is. What I don’t understand why we need to belittle and undermine other leagues. I really enjoy watching the EPL but I also love watching Serie A and La Liga who are ironically both much more competitive.

I always laugh how EPL pundits and commentators drone on about how there are no easy games and anyone can beat anyone claiming these things are only unique to their league while happening throughout every league in Europe pretty much every week.

Isn’t that the same club that bought a ridiculous amount of players, gave them 8 yr contracts and sold their own hotel to themselves in order to square the book. I guess you win some and you lose some
