You must live relatively close to us because our birds right now are very similar. In addition, we have the odd purple finch and Harris sparrow. And I've yet to see a cardinal, so perhaps I'll put out an orange!!

I would find it super embarrassing too. I know the organizers of the tournament are pretty upset so I'm sure someone will be notified.

They skipped the award ceremony because no one was too impressed.

At this age there isn't to be any contact. But they certainly skate faster and shoot harder than we're used to. We had 3 kids taken off in tears 😢

Agreed. I was so...disappointed. I don't understand how adults can do this to children.

Our kids played great. We followed fair play. Our little first years held their own.

They left feeling defeated and dejected.

They responded that they understood and that this was their B team registering.

Ok.

But they sent their A team anyway.

Just so they could clobber the other teams and win the tournament.

This is U9.

They double shifted their best players all tournament to run up scores.

That's the spirit.
