I loved the Lady Georgie anime as a kid, so as a teen I set out to read the manga. The only way I could read it then was online in French translation. This new German edition makes me so happy 💖

For me that's faces 😌 Might sound odd, given my minimalist drawing approach. But even (or especially) there even small tweaks can change a character's attitude completely. I love it.

It's the dialogues. Especially those with the sidekick, where it feels like it's just... saying too much? Constantly pointing out and/or repeating story bits, that feel obvious, plus too much forced "banter". Similar to how I felt when playing 2064 ROM (which I also had really wanted to like).

Been playing Night Reveries bc it seems super cute, but the writing has thrown me off a bit. Couldn't exactly say why at first, because I generally find it great when the player character can interact with pretty much anything you see. But it finally dawned on me.

Finished reading 'Confessions' by Kanae Minato this morning. I had read it because I had watched the movie adaptation a couple of times back in the day and as always when looking at differences between book and screenplay, this was so interesting to explore. 1/
