Fun!

Well now I feel better about procrastinating my way out of a drop-ship fundraiser for the booster club.

And I thought the Warren was creepy!

This makes me feel so grateful to have made it out.

I keep thinking I can’t get more embarrassed that we have a Tesla, but it keeps getting worse.

And sometimes my example is calling my representatives to tell them my opinion!

Ooh! What stitch did you use for the lower part of the moss? You a different kind of thread, right? I love the texture!

What is above the onion? Is that a tangerine?
January 31, 2025 at 12:07 AM
Aww, I’m sorry, hon. That’s really tough.

Ooh that’s exciting! I don’t adore screaming into a void nearly as much as preaching to the choir.

That’s where I started the series & am 3 in, but apparently there were a couple that came before —about the clocktaurs. Did you read those too? My library doesn’t have them on audiobook so I may never.

Have you read any of T. Kingfisher’s stuff? I’m enjoying The Saints of Steel series for some slow burn romantasy. I intersperse the series with other books, though, so I don’t get tired of the “I can’t possibly care for them, can I?”

I feel that—it’s quite a collection. To me, Tress is worth it as a standalone for a fun adventure, but especially for the wordplay. I’d love to see if someone else is as enchanted by it. Getting sucked into the rest of his realm is optional.

Have you read Tress of the Emerald Sea? I’m not willing to commit to the rest of Brandon Sanderson’s library, but the distinctive turns of phrase (with an in-universe cause) are truly delightful.

Agreed. Also, hi! I had a mutual help me find your UN. I’m trying to wiggle free of Zuc’s grasp too. I don’t know how much I’ll post (don’t love screaming into a public void), but I didn’t want to lose the option of hearing how D is, seeing those floppy dog ears, and maybe all-caps yell sometime.

Usually about 1.25, depending on narrator and subject. I’m not making Angela Davis speed through anything!

Seeing the graphs it makes got me back into reading two years ago! From three books a year to 55! I’ve added some folks in these comments (feel free to decline). My username is lisesenb.

Yeah. It’s such a quandary. I know On Tyranny talks about the importance of looking your neighbor in the eye and continuing to associate with others. But how much of my money and attention needs to go to the oligarchs?
January 22, 2025 at 12:52 AM
Thanks for doing this!
January 21, 2025 at 4:05 PM
That’s what I did.

I’m glad to find you! Such great content. Hopefully lots more of your other viewers will too now that the other place is down. Some of us didn’t start to rebuild until now.
January 19, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Yeah that’s a big concern.
