To conclude, I would like to recommend these few books, which are much more insightful than the buzz on social media. You will see that an object as polysemic as the musical phenomenon cannot be summarised and deserves much more in-depth reading than simplistic shortcuts.

Thus, a short video lasting less than a minute only reflects what it shows. It is not sufficient in itself to draw anthropological, cultural or political interpretations that go beyond the strict framework of what it shows.

Iranian urban society has a long history with Western and pop music. It seems to me that the first conservatory was established in the 1920s. (to be verified). During the 1970s, there were a number of vinyl records devoted to funk, and CDs of metal music in the 2000s.
