I mostly take pictures at night.
When it's dark and I can't see what I'm doing.
All photos are mine and copyright, unless a repost.
So beautiful! So alive.

I love this!

That's for sure! There is an area of long grass prairie in northern New Mexico that is absolutely stunning at sunset. It's best late summer and fall because the grass turns gold and the sky is incredibly blue. One of these days I'll get a shot that does it justice. I have tried...

And corn, there's a lot of corn... 🤣

Yes, long grass prairie is beautiful. Unfortunately, here it's mostly short grass and tumble weeds. But the sky is like nowhere else. It goes forever, day and night.

Thank you again, I appreciate that! 🙏🙏 That's Bovina Colorado. When people think about photography in Colorado, they usually just think about shooting in the mountains. And the Colorado Rockies are as beautiful as anywhere on earth. But when they ignore the High Plains, they miss half the story.

Thank you so much! A full moon south of the building and a thunderstorm to the north. It was a long exposure and I was lucky enough to have a flash of lightning behind the building while the shutter was open. Just luck, but I'll take it.

Thank you!🙏🙏

Thank you so much!🙏🙏I think it's the combination of shallow depth of field and being a little bit out of focus, LOL! Part of the look is that, even though there is a storm in the background, the sky above the site was clear with a very bright full moon.

Thank you so much! 🙏🙏 I took that one a couple years ago. They are restoring the property now and to be honest, I liked it better the way it was. Oh well, at least I got the shot.

It's been pretty warm here too. Fall here is always a little bit psycho. A couple days ago it was -6C when I woke up. Today it's supposed to be about 25 or 26C. I'm sure I'll be shoveling snow in a week or two.

I love those old tin roofs. Unless I'm under one during a hail storm, then not so much. 🤔

Can you blame then? You're an hour from the beach. That has a certain appeal...👍😎
