Participating in the first Diplomatic Dialogue for Equality, organised by the Embassies of the Netherlands, Sweden and Canada. Excellent opportunity to exchange on best practices and the roles diplomats and embassies can play to combat racism and other forms of discrimination!

What a splendid day to kick off my personal skiing season with a day on the family friendly slopes of St. Corona/Wechsel in the Wexl Arena family skiing resort. The weather couldn't have been any better, sunny and cold enough for good snow, but not too cold!

Nice to celebrate human rights day by celebrating 10 years of Vienna as a human rights city. Proud to live in a city that celebrates human rights and dedicates resources to their implementation.

Following an interesting presentation by Prof. Yuval Shandy at the law faculty of @univie.ac.at on three generations of digital human rights. Makes the case for the normative equivalence paradigm (i.e. existing human rights apply offline and online), but also highlights systemic challenges.

I've been thinking what could be my first post here, but let's not overthink it. Very interesting presentation of @eurightsagency.bsky.social about their work. Fundamental for policy makers to have objective data and independent expert advice! And also proud we get to host them #FRA in Vienna!
