Today I went back to my city, Gaza…
I went to see the place where I used to live,
but all I found was ashes and rubble.
There’s no sign of life anymore.
Places that were once filled with laughter and people’s voices… are now completely silent.
It’s such deep pain 💔

We struggle to get clean drinking water.
We spend hours waiting in line for it.

A new displacement and new suffering.
Amid the current situation and the occupation of Gaza City,
we were forced yesterday to move from northern Gaza to the south,
to begin a new chapter of hardship.
We can no longer bear any more… death upon death, destruction upon destruction.

The Israeli army has issued an announcement ordering the evacuation of Gaza City.
They are asking us to leave with no destination, no shelter, no tent to cover our children, and not even the ability to carry ourselves.
What kind of hearts command a million people to abandon their city like this?

Here I once lived my life, and now I’m pulling my shattered memories from beneath the rubble of my home in Gaza… Everything is destroyed, everything is over. 💔
