CVT is proud of the great work of the CVT Raahat team! They held an event with partners to honor its work serving the Afghan community as the project moves to closure Jan. 2026. Although the program is closing, mental health services will continue to be available through other CVT programs.

This is a major step toward justice & accountability in Afghanistan. While an actual arrest may seem unlikely & difficult at this time, the announcement itself speaks volumes & sends a powerful message. A long-overdue move.
