If I were a Dodgers fan, I would simply just enjoy watching defending champions who also happen to be the best team in baseball again and not find small things to complain about like a reliever with bad home run luck who still has a 9.3 K/BB ratio

I get you on the stuff and the velo for him. What’s continued to bother me about him is that while he can locate better than anyone, I feel he locates wrong. I think the sinker would play best inside off the plate, yet he tries to dot the outside corner. Seems like hitters sit on it.

It might also be because having 20 steak fries can make you feel incapable of moving the rest of the day while 20 normal fries feels totally fine.

One argument I do have is that they’ve given up 11 HRs in 10 games, which have all been in tough hitting environments. 8.0 K/9 is also glaring with that in mind. 94 wRC+ isn’t great, but that doesn’t cause a team to have a .300 winning percentage.

Great article! The one thing I ask:Could this create a situation where some smaller market teams still attempt to be revenue-receivers since they’d also want to get the better draft pick? It’s possible the deadline to get the picks could combat that.

He got the internal brace which has led to a lot of pitchers coming back much sooner than they would from a normal TJ procedure. It is still a very new operation, so what the long-term implication of it is, who’s to say.
