I got married at 38 & just can’t change it. It’s who I am & I like my name! I always assumed I would change & don’t mind if someone refers to me with my husband’s last name though.
Our children have my name as their middle names and his for their last. I definitely think age makes a difference.

I had kids in 2021 and 2023 and definitely didn’t hear anything about a button either time. 🤷♀️ I had to ask for more each time it started to wear off or the pain got bad.

Hope she feels better soon. Had a similar switch w/my son after an ear infection. High fever, vomiting, swelling, strawberry tongue. It ended up being Kawasaki Disease. Very rare but treatable! Not trying to scare you but might be worth looking up & mentioning to the doc if the symptoms fit!
