fun fact: metal chocobo and olympia have high recoil so they recover longer when guarding with square but they also recover faster from deflecting attacks with the attack command, so you're incentivized to parry with your own attacks instead

if Enter the Gungeon had online multiplayer it would be so beyond RoR free but alas the RoR games do have that benefit over it

Hades 1 is an excellent game with a couple of glaring flaws and Hades 2 is (imo) just a bigger and generally better version of Hades 1 with different things done well and not so well. but i find the moment to moment gameplay to be much more fun. the weapons and aspects are crazy good

its much better than the first game. bosses are much more involved and demanding than the first, and build variety and potential for a run to become extremely powerful is much much much improved over Hades 1 and the pattern holds across all of the game's metaprogression systems.
