The middle one had to be trimmed but this is my usual length.
What I have been working on: my first ever pair of cufflinks! Carved from wax and cast. I made the gold bezels on Monday (and made them too high, will adjust that before proceeding. Lesson learned :) ) and soldered them + the backs I got from Rio on today. Nearing the home stretch!

Plum oatmeal bread came out delicious. <3 It even came out of my fancy fall themed pan with the pattern intact! (I think we've had that pan 10 years and this is only the second time... lol.)

And yet, I am. Invisible illnesses suck. I haven't been able to work since 2011. I'm disabled. It's often all I can do to get out of bed and feed myself. And this is -with- the improvement I've had from ongoing treatment.

An update to the bat saga: the wee bab is safely outside! Thanks to my cats for alerting me and mom to it being visible again.
Hopefully it doesn't go in any more chimneys.
The bat was rescued using advice from a professional and protection was worn.
