The aldi version was alright. It needed some acidity to balance it out. I tossed in some fresh diced tomatoes, and it went from ok to delicious.

Hot honey is better than the ghost pepper trend a few years back. But I agree that the "spicy" gimic is starting to feel uncreative.

Its on my to watch list for Christmas horror.
