Not that you asked, but probably the worst thing I ever smelled was the stench that rose up from a bloated raccoon carcass I found floating on the local pond, when I accidentally opened its intestinal tract. I nearly fell over
A lot of people ask me what the worst thing I’ve ever smelled is.
Some people think it’s rotting shark blood, since shark blood has urea in it. That’s pretty bad, once had to throw out shoes that got a drop on them.
But I gotta go with putrefied sea turtle here. There’s something in their fat. 🤢
