That was my guess.
I volunteered with a heritage railway for a while and knew several people who owned private rail cars. They’re mostly immense train nerds with a passion for historic preservation and from what I can gather own these things much to their own financial detriment

This feels like it's entirely failing to grapple with what anger represents. Anger is, among other things, an implicit threat. Marginalized people need to think very carefully about how they direct threatening behavior.

I have never met someone on the left who has a visceral hatred for EA and is good at decoupling. EA has a lot of potential to do a lot of damage but every one who rages against it seems to be either a complete moron or borderline anti-consequentialist

I really would love it if people would stop unjustifiably implying a community I've been part of for years and was formative in my development is full of terrible people
the model I have is something like: do you still have the rationalist brainworms that install backdoors for hostile actors to insert invasive metaphysics into you through? It's not that TPOT has alt right vibes imo, but TPOT are mostly former rationalists and rats def do have alt right vibes.
