I've also been making my own bread and ice cream. Both of which are $$$ store bought. There are a lot of great non-dairy options out there.

As I learn more I definitely will share! 😊 I've saved veggie clippings to make veggie broth since buying it is so expensive. Lots of resources/recipes out there. I also save the bones from the chicken I cook for my dogs and make bone broth (I'm obvs. not a vegan, lol). I freeze ingredients until use

Yes! You can use the leftover liquid from canned beans to help thicken soups and stews, and leftover liquid from garbanzo beans in baking, instead of eggs. That way you can conserve your eggs for other things. You can also use applesauce but only to a point and then the baked good might become soft.

It is. He used to be much more rational. I'm supposed to head to Michigan in June for my nephew's graduation and I don't want to even go. It's going to be a very quick trip.

I posted something about how you can use other ingredients in baking besides eggs, to save money, and my own brother made it political. I was shocked. He knows that I don't want to have that exchange. We've talked about that.
