Bad guys should know better than to interrupt a hero with a buff sandwich

There's a lot to be upset about right now. My computer works, I shouldn't be thinking about it anymore, but I am. The smallest thing can have a huge impact on someone, you know? But with everything else happening, it's a very small problem to have.

But, I guess I've been trying to look at this as a fresh start. I'll miss all the things I lost on that old hard drive. At least 13 years of memories gone because of one stupid hiccup with Windows. I'll never forget them, though. And now I move on. I'm learning how to use this new tablet, for one.

I tried a number of things to fix it. I panicked. I saved a few of my most important files onto a thumb drive and formatted the drive. Totally wiped clean, out of frustration. I didn't realize how much I'd left on there until I was watching the progress bar. I regret my haste.

Early on this year, my computer started having a number of issues. The first fix I found was to try and reset Windows. When I tried, I found the root of my problem: Windows had gotten corrupted.

So much has disappointed me this year. It feels like so many big projects I was interested in either got shafted or lost their heart along the way. So I want to start putting my heart into my own projects, outside of work. This is an early sketch of a character for an upcoming pathfinder game.
