Oh, update!
I've confidently finalized my sculpt (...maybe except the nose) and lining has begun! Eyes are done and kinda look like sweet sunglasses... *takes notes*
I have the rest of the liner patterned and cut, now it's just a matter of sewing it up.
And then... we're furring.

Oh, update!

Mildly paralyzed finalizing my sculpt on the head with the finish line in sight, but I have a trip to the fabric store lined up for the afternoon so I can buy the lycra needed to force my own hand in time for sewing the lining.
Speaking of forcing my hand, ain't no going back from this one...

Antlers aren't break-away sadly (break-away motion I wanted also breaks when I shake my head no, whoops) but ARE secure and the magnets keep them oriented properly every time. Gonna truncate them a bit to get them closer to the head, them bitches OUT THERE. Proper ears and final sculpt next!

Ambitious antler proof of concept!
I'm 6'5" and have no intention of compromising on my antlers... nor of damaging doorways. I need a sturdy mount for antlers that can safely break away if they're stopped and I am not. Mounted correctly, these stand to only break from the front. On to prototyping!

Stalled on the sculpt making anxious micro-cuts, so I made some rudimentary ears to give context to the face and I think that's what I needed to finish? The next cuts are scary but it has to be done...
