My story is similar. 3rd infection on 11/21, destroyed my guts. I'm still struggling and have finally starting looking at disability.

I get moments of extreme sadness and anger at how many ppl just dismiss Covid.

Thank you! The entire blanket is single crochet stitches in an attempt to limit dog toenail snagging.

Thank you!! 🥰

I only have the held items for Spritzee and Swirlix. If Haunter doesn't need to hold an item, they would be my third. I use your code to send them to you, and then you send them back? Or does it work a different way?

Just noticed that one has to complete link trades to eventually get the shiny charm, too.. darnit. I've encountered zero shinies except the ones the game gives automatically.

If you or anyone is up for trading, I would love to. I do not know anyone else who plays.

I've been enjoying it a lot, too.

I was hoping being able to 100% a pokedex like in Arceus would stick around for us solo players, but alas, it is not to be.

Would be nice if we could access all the Mega evolutions without doing online seasonal battles as well.

That is so very cute! My boy Henry (80lbs shepherd mix) was so proud of his giant stuffed toys (think king pillow size and larger) that he insisted on carrying them with us on walks. He'd end up getting tired about 3/4's of the way thru, and I'd haul it back for him. I wish I had taken pictures.

Aw, they definitely do take care of us.

I was shocked that my bub would wake me up when I was having low sugar.

They can be scary smart!

That's very sweet

Mine got so used to me taking a 4pm nap that he will try to herd me into my bedroom while meowing nonstop if I don't.

He also gets mad if I don't go to sleep by 10:30pm. Phone/Switch use in bed is not acceptable. Only sleep. lol

I went to look on your other posts to see if I could see the whole piece. Awesome work. The rivets definitely bring it to a whole other level!

I drop pills a lot, too. If on the floor, I just take them. It is esp gross if a public or work floor, but I can't just toss them if they are restricted meds. I find sorting them 1st into a pill case, use a mat/towel on a big surface like a table/bed, helps w/ not spilling an entire bottle.

Most ppl have no exp dealing w/ chronic illness/pain/discomfort of any kind. To them, mask discomfort is a big deal.

Instead of telling them it could be worse, a concept they can't really grasp, we acknowledge both the discomfort of wearing a mask and how it is necessary to keep everyone safe.
July 18, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Honestly, I don't think there is anything wrong w acknowledging that it can be hard to wear a mask.

When I wore them for a whole day teaching, we'd go outside every hour for a mask break.

I'd still get migraines after work from the strap pressure.

Hard, but necessary.

It is so very hard to say goodbye. What I tell myself is that they would be alive whether I am in their life or not, and both of our lives benefit by being together.

I despise ChatGPT and AI OV. Ppl try to use it for everything.

Friend asked about supplements a week ago, I advised asking a doctor, as what they were currently taking was potentially dangerous according to medical websites. They sent me back a screenshot saying that ChatGPT said it was fine. 🙄

I started to, then didn't have the time/energy due to my teaching schedule this year (only 3 classes, but LC is still kicking my butt). I hope to start back up in the next couple of weeks, as school ends this Thursday.

I am making a smaller wristband/slapband version as a trial first. Will post pictures when it is complete. 🙂

It is so cute. I was very tempted to buy one, but I bought the crochet pattern for it a while ago so I could make one, dangit! I plan to do a Glaceon version of it.
