Also I’m guessing Godzilla’s atomic energy is different from gamma since hulk can usually absorb most types of radiation, but I guess he’s incompatible with Godzilla’s. Probably some similar bs to the DC explanation that Godzilla’s atomic energy was similar to Kryptonite thus hurts Superman.

So in the official matchup we have Godzilla besting Hulk. According to the writer this is 616 canon and the same Godzilla from the 70’s comic so that means Godzilla has somehow bested 616 Hulk who has access to the green door among other abilities.

So since Godzilla destroys the marvel universe is apparently canon to the original 616 Godzilla run. In that run Godzilla was affected by the pym particles and shrunk down. This means in that time he somehow managed to become immune to the particles.
