A cute lil romp with a great soundtrack and visual style. Not very complex nor difficult on most accounts, but felt very relaxing after playing some more hardcore games.
Combat never got old despite its lack of friction. Abilities were neat, but their uses were sparse.

Despite my inexperience with k-pop and mixed feelings on idol culture, I quite enjoyed this!
The story’s pretty typical for a kid’s movie, but the stylish animation on display really wowed me, and the musical numbers were well done! Love the all-Korean cast too :3

Clooney and Pitt’s duet of coolness and wry banter is pretty impressive here. The moody plot started out strong, and got kinda lost as the film progressed and played with itself, though it’s all a nice nod to the leads’ past roles
Score and cinematography were excellent.

A slight improvement on Chaos in terms of level complexity and difficulty, feeling on-par with earlier 8-bit Sonic releases. Vehicles are a cool addition but I could never get them to last long.
Hiiiii Fang the Hunter 💞

Great audiovisual style. Upgrade system activates often enough to keep runs interesting. Town segment gives post-run stuff to care about, but also becomes its own form of grind
Stopping here for now because I’m feeling dangerous levels of brain-off repetition when I play already

When misguided game critics in the late 2000s boiled down every 2D platformer game to just “running right” they were actually thinking of this game.

“I’m in the middle of some larger games, but I’m kind of in the mood for a 3D platformer. I wish I could play one that felt like a solid adventure, but also managed to fit comfortably into 1-2 hours”

The exploratory focus of the game was hampered by chaotic levels, combined with a time travel mechanic that felt incredibly cumbersome to pull off.
OP/ED animations and level art were beautiful. Music ranged from awful to pretty cool, but never quite felt like a great match.

I did a bit of a practice apple pie recently, and you’re making me want to go all out and cook something nice again already 💕

This movie was kinda aimless and boring — cutting the espionage and intrigue of the first M:i for a wooden villain and a one-dimensional love triangle plot — until the last act, where it becomes the most awesome thing ever put to screen.
Thank you John Woo

Charming as ever, though its narrative is slightly muddied by themes that rib at current events, and as such feels a little less imaginative at times.
Still, the animation is beautiful, there’s quirky British gags galore, and this one has Philomena Cunk.

My favorite of the classic Sonics so far! The Sonic 3 half of the game looks beautiful, has great music, and I loved how many of its levels enabled zooming at top speed. The Knuckles half felt closer to previous entries, but its finale won me over.

Pretty much what it says on the tin!
As a classic “buy upgrades” game it felt lacking, with a slow loop that overstayed its welcome near the end.
The action of digging was kinda therapeutic though, and I’d love to see a version of the game that’s *just* digging

Despite its main reason for existing, I don’t find this a better game than Half-Life, just…different. Liberties are taken with the original’s aesthetic choices, flow, and gunplay, and not all to great effect. Xen is a different game entirely, but has some pretty cool set-pieces.
