(2) there’s a nasty trend amongst combat units of using/repurposing Nazi imagery. I’m not sure what the appeal is, other than it’s a way to look “hard.” It’s the same when we’d sing gross cadences like “Napalm sticks to kids.” There was a culture of being offensive in the GWOT days.

Challenge to able-bodied (and mostly able-bodied) leftists: get strong. There’s going to be a time when our allies with disabilities are going to need us. There are loads of other ways to help, but one of the easiest is to strengthen yourself to protect those who can’t.
