Sometimes a book finds you (me!) at just the right time. I’m an @alinaetc.bsky.social superfan (and she introduced me to my new boyfriend, Rilke) and I have deep personal connections to Romania and to Alabama, both of which have such texture in Alina’s poetry. Alive, spiritual, inquisitive! Fun!

I’ve admired @charlesjensen.bsky.social’s poetry and memoir for so long (the fact that he’s hot and was on Jeopardy! has nothing to do with it I swear), so I was over the moon when he sent me these questions from his Writer’s Style Guide series. His newsletter, nanogram, is just wonderful. Such fun!

Our sweet Fox is 6! He’s been a supernova of joy since the day he was born. He’s happy, generous, kind, smart, beautiful, and curious. He loves Bluey and WWE and baseball and his grandparents and his brother and reading and Minecraft and basically everything. We are so lucky to be his dads.
