I really liked what they did with Discovery. I'm not paying for Paramount to watch it is the main reason I'm not terribly interested. I've missed lots of the newer stuff for that reason. But should it become available to me or should I decided to pay for a month and binge watch, I'll be right there!

Rape of Nanking is the first counter-point that comes to mind. And plenty of countries have racism. It's a human thing, not an American thing. Which was my only point. America exemplifies it due to scope and influence, but I think it's a mistake to present that it's only America.

I feel like this is not a uniquely American phenomenon. People's self-image often depends on ignorance of problematic foundations of their state of well-being. "Can I feel good about my achievements, knowing they were built on the backs of victims of injustice?" isn't just an American question.

That is a devastating blow. Looks good. I enjoy the blow through to the other side of the saucer. But that ship is toast.

Worst format for this ever. I got through the first movie before realizing I had no desire to watch the whole thing for a top 50 list.
But tell me C.H.O.M.P.S. is on the list. Because I saw that far too many times as a kid for how bad it was. But I liked it anyway.

I don't know anything about her other than her willingness to screw a man-sized scrotum with black lung. I judge that to be disqualifying that she might have opinions worth hearing. It's not fear that makes me tune out, but utter disinterest mixed with disgust.

This country is such a shit show I honestly couldn't remember the attack. Every single day is so fucking awful that a "terrorist attack" doesn't even stand out as memorable. I'm watching them set fire to anything of value in this country they can't steal. An attack is just Tuesday.
