Dear God! This administration makes me vomit. 🤮

This is ridiculous. We had the funding. We had the expertise. We had the established protocols. And they just threw them away. I guess it's good that they cut so much from social services that they could afford to buy a fleet of specially equipped and armored BMWs for Kash Patel to drive around. 🤬

Oh goodie. Let's go back to the farmers almanac and licking our finger to test which way the storm's coming from. 🤦

Just more loss of continuity and expertise.

That's the difference between a big corp. and a family owned business. When your employees are family, neighbors, friends and locals whom you see around, it's hard to act like you don't care or can just walk away. Even if you're selfish as hell it's impractical to think you can just walk away.

I want my "hate" emoji! 😡

Wonder how the Kennedy family feels about that. 😕 Except Jr., of course.

😂 They'll be back in style then.

At least an EO can be torn up by the next administration without having to renegotiate with Congress.

Good Lord, he's a master of misdirection. Watch this hand while I steal from you with the other.

Or it could be that the one most afflicted by TDS is Trump himself, since he is the sun in his own universe. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, sure you'll shop around. 🙄 In most areas, you MAY have a choice of 2-3 hospitals within driving distance. And not all of them are close enough in an emergency. You get stabilized at the nearest and maybe then transferred to another.

That sounds like a wonderful thing to do. Please share photos!

We usually buy our gas at the Seneca reservation. Saves us between $.40 and $.60/gallon so we pay $2.69-$2.89 there.
December 17, 2025 at 2:01 PM
Gas here has ranged from $3.29 (now) to $3.69 (it's "low" after COVID).

I didn't know they can't use those bottles. I've always recycled them. Although sometimes I save a few to use for collecting fecal samples for the vet.
December 17, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Yeah, that cheap gas sure hasn't trickled down to us.
December 17, 2025 at 1:34 PM
Very disturbing. But ours is also in jeopardy unless we get our act together. 😕

Love the Atlantic. Their articles are very well written and timely, thought provoking, and supported by facts. It's the only magazine I subscribe to.
