Yeah it was basically radio silence for weeks because I was learning yet another new skill. Or in this case, trying again at something I had rage quit multiple times before. Have another video of them running in Blender.

With the help of a friend I tackled 3D rigging and animation for a fourth time and actually made some little actions for Doogies! There is more to show as I put them into my current project but look a them go!

Breaking thread order to give a long overdue update: Worked on adding in art for Scene 2. Currently 90% done. Remaining art needed are high effort tasks such as the character 3D model.

At the final stretch. The last prototype for this micro-game. Found a good free spline tool and implemented the follower logic and some camera work.

Implemented all the UI and it's code logic. This prototype has started to become too messy to keep track of and as such- overstayed it's welcome. Glad to start moving on to the final prototype!

Targets now move towards spots at or around the player gun. They can also now be destroyed by bullets. Next phase will be implementing the dialogue and story triggers before gameplay begins.

Added lettering to the dialogue and set up the system where clicking the star creates a physical object that goes towards you and the screen fades to white. Gonna consider prototype two done. On to the next!

Added some polish and wax to how the dialogue appears/disappears.

First time doing over world text, then animating it. I also added a fade to white when you manage to click on a star but that's boooring.

Now working on the second prototype! @innoart.bsky.social helped again with the star logic. Need to add in the timed dialogue, the singular 'gameplay' event, and the stuff that happens when you end the scene.
