Great dissection! I've always considered this the last hurrah for Classic DB before the cast/crew changes that came with Kai and remain to this day. While I respect the decision to exclude Tenshinhan so soon after Suzuoki's passing, it also means poor Hiroko Emori doesn't get invited to the reunion!

Very sorry for your loss. Wishing you many warm thoughts and happy memories of Panda to help cushion the pain.

I don't have the same internet presence I had... gulp... twenty years ago. I've chilled out. I can't brag about being "that moderator from the FUNimation Forums" anymore. (Those forums don't exist anymore! *FUNimation* doesn't exist anymore!) So if you're still following me in 2025, I thank you.

I won't be deleting my Twitter; I'll keep tweeting. I'd still like to keep in touch with my mutuals who haven't made the jump. Also, I don't want my handle stolen by a Nazi, or a bot, or a Nazi-bot. (And I still say the world’s wealthiest man should be the one who leaves, because I was here FIRST.)

It's a surreal reminder of just how BIG Twitter was in its heyday. I could keep up with my nerdy online friends, ask a casual question to a video game developer (and get a reply!), and be quote-tweeted by Scott Weinger himself to talk about Aladdin. (That really happened, by the way. Best day ever.)

That's not a complaint. ("Hey, what happened to all the corporations?!") But so far, Bluesky does feel "unofficial" in some ways that are comforting and some ways that aren't. It serves as a lingering reality check that, oh yeah, we're mainly here because we're trying to get away from the fascism.

I've found many of y'all over here already, so if you got a follow notification from me, yes, that was really me! Something I noticed: most of the indie artists and "normal people" I follow have made the jump, while most of the studio artists, celebrities, and brands I follow have not made the jump.
