Less of a novel writing event and more just trying to keep up my writing streak on 4thewords for the whole month. 444 words a day for 30 days is like 13k or so!

It's just circ, too—aka the front line customer service, since its also the only service desk (which is INSANE for a library this size). Literally everyone else who works there has a sitting desk. "Rules for thee but not for me" seems to be her motto

My library not only won't let circ staff sit without a doctor's note, but also I'm 100% convinced my boss would love nothing more than to remove the circulation desk entirely. I genuinely have no idea why. Every library I've ever been to has at least had the option to sit or stand.
