The AYN Thor is great

It runs Valkyria Chronicles, Oblivion, Demon's Souls and a ton of PS2 games

...so of course I'm using it to play old, pixely dungeon crawlers

Someone claimed Star Wars Outlaws doesn't run on the Steam Deck. Still had it installed, so I recorded some footage to show them what it's actually like (not great, but still playable with low FPS)

I had so much fun with the bike I kept playing just to do donuts in Akiva. Maybe it's time for an LP!

I don't think you could move the camera around while driving vehicles until GTA San Andreas (on PC, at least). And it recenters once you start driving anyway...

...I've also kept my PSP reflexes

So I've installed this right thumbstick mod. It plays just like it would on a PS2... but I never use it

Everytime I find my endgame and am on the verge of buying it, a new endgame is announced. It just never ends.

Been replaying the original Assassin's Creed after Shadows. I just love the old combat system. Kinda wish they had kept it

After sitting on it for a while, I finally installed Adrenaline on my Vita and turned it into a Tenchu machine (that also streams Ghost of Tsushima)

Replaying Tenchu 2, I found it funny how Tatsumaru, Rikimaru & Ayame seem to be the village's only ninjas and I wondered where the other ones could be

Even if it's VR, it's hard not to get excited for Thief

I'm not buying a headset... but I'll borrow one if I have to. I NEED to play Legacy of Shadow

I beat Splinter Cell Essentials!

Not sure the name is appropriate. It has some really weird controls for a PSP game, its story is just okay and there's not much variety in gameplay...

...but after I gave up on both Peace Walker and Portable Ops, I'm glad I was at least able to complete this one
May 29, 2025 at 3:25 PM
I'm not sure there's much point to it, but I made a grid out of all the stealth games I've ever completed

(plus four greyed out placholders which I expect to finish soon-ish, to fill the gaps)

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the latest addition

Have you ever played a game that isn't good, but you want to keep playing anyway?

The closest experience I've had to this was the Legend of Zelda series from the 80s. It wasn't particularly good, but by the time I got to the last episode, I wasn't ready for it to end

Having just completed Metal Gear 2 for the first time, I would normally draw something about that and share some thoughts

Instead I had a random thought about Tenchu: Fatal Shadows

These series are intertwined in my head, I hope if one can be revived, the other can too someday

Didn't have plans to comment on the Switch 2 situation, but ALL the content creators I watch/read are talking about it

I'm easily influenced, so I dusted off my Lite to play some Metal Gear 2 (the MSX game, not the PS2 one)

...made me realise I was really not the target audience for an upgrade

Solo Druid is a very good build to trivialise the Gauntlet of Shar
...until it isn't

Posting this one incredibly late, I sort of forgot about it

You were right when you said we were all born with parts to play, Magmar. Yours just happened to be "Owlbear snack" and "fertilizer"

I never would have expected to have to manage more units in a solo run than with a complete party. Yet, here we are!

You may be able to intimidate an entire culture into worshipping you, Vlaakith. But not a Deep Gnome who learned to grow his own basil

A silly Reddit doodle about Goblins, flowers and druids (loosely based on an idea by u/Ryu_Ugoroshi)

I did make my Dream Guardian Sailor Moon in a previous playthrough and forgot about it (imagine my surprise!)

Probably gonna indulge in this silliness again when I replay Kerbal as a Ranger/Druid

My first solo run is going great!

It turns out you don't really need friends when you can channel the power of the Moon (to punish people) and shape-shift into an Owlbear

After her adventures in Boletaria, Lordran and Yharnam... my plan was to draw Lia's adventures in Drangleic and eventually Lothric...

...but I took a wrong turn and found myself trapped in the Lands Between

Magical Girl Lia's Adventures in... Faerûn?

It's only a matter of time until I recreate her in any RPG where magic is an option

I have no plans to make it a full series, but I'll gladly draw the funny situations she finds herself into every now and then

Making a Githzerai Paladin with the intent to romance Lae'Zel was a terrible idea

But a devout follower of Zerthimon forced to work with a fanatical Githyanki is great buddy movie material

Same reaction I had when I finished Six of Crows and it ended on the cheapest cliff hanger

Except maybe worse because Republic of Thieves was incredibly low stakes throughout. When the filler is more interesting than the main story, you know something's wrong...
February 17, 2025 at 4:26 PM
In my first playthrough, it surprised me how both Gale and Shadowheart instantly developed feelings for my characters

It's now my fourth (give or take) and I'm discovering the mildly unfortunate side effects of rushing through Act 1
February 11, 2025 at 12:05 PM
Forgot to post this. Since then, I beat Baldur's Gate 2 for the first time. Final party: Hexxat, Korgan, Viconia, Jan and Imoen

Sandwiched between BG1 and BG3, with Planescape and KotOR as the tomatoes and salad... let's just say BG2 was never going to convert me from being a vegetarian
