It is as if he was thrust into a position where an ordinary person would have felt instant concern for the condition of the fallen, but he is not wired that way, and his brain just went into annoyed standby mode because the focus of attention wasn't on him. He cannot even feign concern.

Installing solar plus grid battery-storage is much cheaper than installing new nuclear power plants right now, and battery technology is on an exponential cost-reduction curve. This is a fact. Solar also produces no nuclear waste. Nuclear cannot compete, and will eventually go extinct. Sorry.

It is a good thing that there are a wide variety of grid-storage battery technologies that do not use lithium. You should check them out.
