To add to the 18 species we saw in the #BGBW2025 at the weekend, today I saw a woodpecker, a nuthatch and a delightful gold crest. First peeks of spring too.

Wow, 18 species! And that's missing our regular dunnocks, nuthatch and woodpecker! Wren, redpoll, thrush, chiffchaff (or warbler) and greenfinch additions to our usual crowd. Peanuts, sunflower seeds and fatballs 😊
