I've functionally stopped using this app, BUT I will always take the opportunity to promote new shows that I love.

That is to say: Nautilus whips ass and I'm glad AMC+ saved it. The Pride & Prejudice girlies are in for a good one with this.

Disney+ made a serious mistake dropping this colorful '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea' prequel.

[DOCTOR WHO SPOILER]

So Belinda got the worst on-screen companion-sendoff in the 62 year history of the show, right

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I think Russell T. Davies has far outstayed his welcome with Doctor Who, actually.

real podcasters stay up until 3:30 AM finishing episode edits and then add another twenty minutes to that cobbling together this stupid joke preview.
Our extremely well-timed episode on "The Three Doctors" is out now!

Listening to audiobooks is great until you’re on your millionth horror book for the year and you discover that the big twist is actually about cannibalism *while you’re eating dinner*.

(To be clear: the book still whips ass. I’m just bad at timing.)

Hey, if you’re at a rep screening, you really don’t need to titter, laugh and/or guffaw every time a character does something. Something being dated doesn’t make it automatically hilarious. Watch more movies, I dunno.

Impulsively ended up at the ballet dressed like this last night (bad picture, I know), and make no mistake: I look fancy, but I definitely karate-kicked the elevator button in those heels because I’d had a few drinks and had too many things in my hands.

I’m mostly surprised it actually worked.

The show has often excelled when required to do explore ideas with small resources. And it’d be great to keep it going as a way of letting new British talent and varied voices try things out, without the pressure that comes with being a mega show.
I'm tempting the gods here, but I do sort of think that 'Doctor Who being made on a more limited budget' has the potential to be very good for British TV, in that it might free TV bosses from the (IMV unhelpful and wrongheaded) idea that everything needs to be a glossy co-production to succeed.
This is terrific news and I am very much here for an eight part Edge of Destruction where nobody leaves the TARDIS and it’s like avant garde 1960s theatre.

Finished up our rewatch, and The Story and the Engine might be my favorite Who story since Power of the Doctor.

Stories about the power of stories always hit!!
Caught Mom up on most of this season of Doctor Who, and am shocked how well Robot Revolution works for me on second watch where it didn’t the first time. I wasn’t expecting that to happen at all.

Lux still absolutely sucks though.
