Sometimes the obstacles on our paths are blessings. I started this painting in 2018. Painted over it a few times. The paint is thick and lumpy. It is 40x40 in oil on canvsa and titled Path Obscured. It might finally be done. #painting #painter

In 2022, I painted some large figurative pieces. I got nervous, and painted over them. they are significantly differed from my other work. I wish I had been braver and kept going with them. I wish I would have pushed these narrative pieces further. It might be time to revisit this work. #painting

I signed the lease 14 days ago. I had everything I needed to make this space come alive. Tomorrow I will be hanging out here paint and stretch new canvases. Feels so good to have these pieces on display. If you have a wall that needs some color make an appointment and come visit me.
