I don’t know how he manages it, but Hendrix finds the perfect balance between horror in the mundane and the supernatural. This book was brutal, and at times, surprisingly funny. A timely publication as we fight again for reproductive rights.

Walking around Epcot last week I saw the prettiest window in the Twinings tea shop in England. Watercolor of tea? Amazing! Makes me want to pick up my paintbrush again 💕

I’ve read a lot of healing fiction, this is by far the best and my favorite yet! Maybe it’s because my own recent personal journey to becoming a bookseller is reflected but I found myself crying and feeling better about my new path in life after reading this.
