Anyways. One of my favourite pictures from the time is this one, of my dad with the Stanley Cup (short old guy on the left). Only… I have no idea when this photo is from, or who’s in it with him. And I have no idea who might know. Maybe they’re not even important guys! Who’s to say.

This was, of course, a great time to be a Habs fan. My dad is in this picture behind Henri Richard, and a quote he gave for an interview (date unknown), praising new player (now hall of famer) Guy Lafleur.

He got involved in the Montreal hockey scene, and this led to him working for the #Habs for most of the 70s (& maybe earlier??) as a minor official. Mostly he was a goal judge, but he was also a penalty judge, timekeeper, & statistical analyst!
