Busy day decorating. Boo!
Haven't been in here much lately. My husband died suddenly on 6/15, and our sweet old lady, Gilda, died on 9/3. It's been a summer from Hell.
I'm not alone here. I still have our baby, Tasha, and my special needs nephew that we raised together.
And my best friend has been staying during the week.

I am so exhausted, Babe. I'm trying so hard to maintain, clean, and take care of everything and everyone. But I'm not doing a very good job. This was always a partnership. I'm struggling to do it all alone. I need you. I really need you.

18 hours ago, this wonderful man (left), who loved me for 25 years, I found dead on the bathroom floor. He was only 62. My heart is truly shattered in two; the best part of me/us is gone. And it hurts so much.
