We're on track to have a harder- than- usual flu season. And RSV is on the rise, with pertussis not far behind. Wearing a mask is just a nice gift for the new baby and parents! If you really want them to know they're loved, go get vaccinated a couple weeks before seeing them, too!

Back in 2002, my 2-week old nephew died of meningitis he contracted while a newborn in the hospital, very likely transmitted by a visitor or hospital staff. Tell your friend not to back down. Her relative can F off.
