The BFI National Archive appeared as a photoshoot location in October’s issue of Vogue, featuring the Rizwan brothers.

We had fun doing our own version for the #BFI Insta.

I am wearing: shirt - secondhand, tank top - knitted by Mum, trousers - vintage Topshop, trainers - Converse 😎

Visited the @realgdt.bsky.social #Frankenstein exhibition yesterday. It always blows my mind when I get to see up close the incredible collaborative craft & artistry that goes into filmmaking. The Magic of The Movies! #filmsky

Loved The Line of Beauty at the Almeida. A funny, moving dissection of 80s England; class & politics, love & sex, excess & ugliness. The cast is flawless. #theatresky

Had an excellent #LFF this year, not a bad film among this lot. Roughly listed in preference, but not much between the first 6.
Thanks #BFI!

So glad that I got the chance to see #InsideNo9 Stage/Fright @mktheatre.bsky.social after missing it in London. It’s an ingenious & very funny show, loved how they adapted two of the best episodes for it. A perfect end to the series, bravo Reece & Steve!

PSB at NFT last night. Surreal Brit oddity It Couldn’t Happen Here, PSB soundtracked Battleship Potemkin + Neil Tennant Q&A. All this AND I was sitting across the aisle next to Neil during Potemkin! A dream night at #BFI Southbank 🤩

“Are you gonna bark all day little doggie, or are you gonna bite?”

RIP Michael Madsen. Iconic in Reservoir Dogs, once seen never forgotten.

Yesterday I made my first visit to London’s new grindhouse style rep cinema @thenickelcinema.bsky.social for a first time watch of White Heat on 16mm. Cool little cinema run by lovely people. If you’re a movie fan with a taste for the cult & the crazy, this is the place for you, it rocks!
