Walking an extra 15 for a few days every so often would be fine. But the signs and oversaturated limited spots make it 30+ minutes every day for the last 7 MONTHS. Which is especially fun when Im walking alone at 12am through the rough space that late night centretown has become in the opiate crisis

I would love to bus but my work shift and on call schedule is not supported by the bus schedules. I'd like to bike but I have neuro/balance issues that make that impossible.

Best I found is that narrow path between the sidewalk barricade and the unlocked unsecured outhouse at 11pm. But I'd prefer not to have to get up and close to that smell

Is that not what had them closing Lyon Street all spring and summer last year? That was a nightmare. The water was constantly off and then filled with sediment when it came back. And the vibrations shook dishes off shelves and art off my wall.

It's been two whole weeks. The workers may be working hard, but The City of Ottawa sure dropped the ball on snow removal

I'll believe it when I see the trucks. Sometimes those signs are up for days

Hell, it'll all flood tomorrow with all the rain we are getting tomorrow while all the drains are blocked by snowbanks

Is it only a bit of Maclaren? Maybe just Elgin to Bank or something? There are no snow removal 'no parking' signs up near the Dundonald end of Maclaren?

I hope the new surface will winter better! It's bad every year on this stretch, but this year is the worst I've seen it
